Commonfield Systems Inc. (“Commonfield Systems,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Neighbr platform (“Neighbr,” “the Platform”) accessible at joinneighbr.com. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the Platform.

Who we are

Commonfield Systems Inc. is a Canadian corporation operating Neighbr, a map-native Civic Operating System. All data collected through the Platform is stored and processed in Canada on Amazon Web Services infrastructure in the ca-central-1 (Canada Central) region.

Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information: account registration details including name and email address; location information used to provide map-based civic features; civic activity data including posts, polls, issues, and event participation; device and browser information for platform operation and security; and communications submitted through contact forms or in-platform messaging.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your personal data with third-party advertisers. We may share data with service providers who assist in operating the Platform, subject to confidentiality obligations. We may disclose information where required by applicable Canadian law.

Your rights

Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate information; withdraw consent to collection or use, subject to legal and contractual restrictions; and make a complaint to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
